Vangelis Kritsotakis is an R & D engineer in the Information Systems Laboratory of the Institute of Computer Science, FORTH. He holds a Master of Science in Internet Computing from University of Surrey (UK) and a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from University of Sussex (UK).

His main interest focuses around semantic data acquisition & construction tools, information management web systems and workflow management systems.

He has taken on the responsibility of designing and implementing a web application for a library management system. Additionally, he has developed a web tool designed to facilitate the schema mapping definition process, providing an optimal environment for users. Furthermore, he has contributed to the creation of an Assistive Query Builder tool for Semantic Data, enhancing the efficiency of data querying processes.
